ALL CLUB MEET Information

Please arrrive at Century II Convention Hall by 6:15 pm.
The gymnasts will come to the floor and be put into groups. We'll sing the National Anthem, and they will
march to their first event. They can compete in one event, or all (vault, bars, floor and beam for girls and
side horse for boys). The coaches will be there if they need help or forget their routines. They will perform by
themselves. It will not be judged; everyone will get an award!
Kids should wear what they wear to gymnastics. Girls should have their hair up fancy! Kids can wear a warm up over their leotard or t-shirt and shorts to stay warm. The Wichita Gymnastics Booster Association will be selling leotards at the gym Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before the meet. If you don't buy a leo on one of these days and want to purchase one, just come early to the meet and visit the pro shop where you can purchase one if you need.
There is no entry fee. Admission fees are: $5 for adults, $3 for children 4-12, and under 3 is free. Gymnasts competing are free.

Wichita Gymnastics has been serving recreational and competitive gymnasts in South Central Kansas with a tradition of excellence since 1969. What are some of the benefits of gymnastics? Gymnastics is a great sport for children of all ages. Gymnastics classes offer a variety of benefits: 
physical activity
promotes exercise, coaches and instruction promote attentiveness and respect. Gymnastics helps children develop spatial and body awareness. It helps with physical, social, emotional and cognitive developemnt. At WGC,
we utilize games, gymnastics skills, equipment and music to challenge children and nurture their physical and mental development.
WGC offers four 9-week sessions during the school year, plus a Summer Session. We run in sessions for consistency of instruction - this way there are not new children constantly coming in and out of your child's class.
Does WGC offer anything other than gymnastics? You bet. WGC also offers Kid's Day Out, Kid's Night Out, Birthday Parties, Summer Camp and a Summer Aquatic Program. We also love to accommodate groups such as daycares, preschools, schools, churches, scout groups and more.
